Day 4 post op

Yep , each day is getting better and better . Lots of lessons learned !
1. Sip water all day long and if I wake up at night sip some more ! The debilitating migraines are from dehydration . Sip sip sip all the time is my new motto
2. Journal my intake on my fitness pal app . I thought I was getting enough protein and fluids until I started actually keeping track and I was NOT – thus the headaches and weakness .
3. Don’t try and be Wonder Woman if my body is in pain take the 1/2 pain pill . When body is in pain it doesn’t want to eat and drink so the cycle begins.
5. Don’t weigh yourself this early – lots of fluid retention still
4. Ignore the house ! I am throwing this in to relieve my own guilt 😉

My goal today is to go to vitamin shoppe and see if they have any powdered protein and try some different soups . I am really sick of protein shakes .

    I am 3 weeks out and I already had a stall that lasted 2 weeks!! If you can, wait about a month to weigh yourself! Apparently most everyone goes through a stall in the 1st month cuz your body is trying to figure out what the heck is going on! Lol. It just keeps getting easier from here on out! Welcome to the other side!!!! 🙂
